Miscommunication

Nothing is as fun as trying to ring up a customer who is gabbing away on her cell phone. Because it’s not like I wanted to make sure you were actually purchasing what you thought you were, or anything. Some products have similar packaging, and the bubble bath you picked up because you thought it was on sale might not be because you read the sign wrong.

And then you come back to me and bitch about how you didn’t want it if it was full price. Sorry, I must have missed the mind-reading part of my associate training.

On the other hand, if you insist on talking through the whole transaction, you are SO not getting a coupon. Ha.
